What is Blackboard?
Blackboard is the College’s Learning Management System (LMS) that provides tools for teaching online as well as for in-person, in-person-blended, and remote-blended courses. All QCC courses have a Blackboard shell that may be used for handouts, online discussion, testing, group work, assignment submission, and grading. If you’re not sure if your class is using Blackboard, ask your instructor.

Blackboard Ultra Course list view
You may notice that there is a change in the way the Course Page is displayed in Blackboard. It now groups courses by term. All the courses are still there, you just have to scroll down to find the correct term. There may be a way to change the order in which terms are displayed, but so far we have not found it. Faculty can choose the term from the center box and have it show only the term they are looking for. Alternatively, scrolling to the course and making it a favorite will bring it to the top of the page.
